Physician autonomy

Currently, unfortunately, it is considered a near-impossible to achieve autonomy as an employed physician. It is seen as a privilege and not a right. This is absolutely inverse of what it needs to be. Autonomy for physicians is their right. Autonomy of physicians is also a patient right. Patients deserve to be treated in a system that supports their health and allow physicians to treat without pressure.
